Abstract

Landslides are the common geological hazards in the mountainous areas, which pose a serious threat to the safety of the life and property of the local people, destroy the engineering facilities, affect the normal production, construction and basic work and life of the residents, and bring huge losses to the local economy. Therefore, it is of great significance to strengthen the monitoring of the landslide deformation. At present, there are many monitoring methods for the landslide deformation. The application of the GIS technology will improve the monitoring system, which is conducive to the monitoring of the landslide deformation.
