Abstract

SOA provides a new method to optimiz software development process with value chain. A formalized definition and a meta-model about value chain were introduced for analysing the difference between traditional software development process and service-oriented reusable software process. Furthermore, some metrics in software development value chain was proposed and compared in value matrix. The results show that the service-oriented reusable development process has more value improvement than traditional software process, which collaborate all the resources and roles in software process together under an open environment.
