Fluctuation in excitability of nerve fibres — a model study

Summary

In this paper a mathematical model for the fluctuation in excitability of nerve fibres is presented. The model is based on the concept of a threshold subject to noise-like variations. Emphasis is laid on the rate of fluctuation of these disturbances.
