Abstract

This paper presents a new architecture for embedded systems and describes an appropriate method for programming a control system. A grinding machine control system was built and an experimental verification of the theoretical approach was performed. The efficiency of this novel system was compared with the conventional control systems by grinding a workpiece up to the stringent quality requirements. The superior performance of the OR dataflow control system lead to the encouraging conclusions presented in this paper.
