James Everett, History Coordinator at the CTI for History (University of Glasgow), is finishing his Ph.D. thesis examining the social and familial relationships of Genoa's artisans in the early fourteenth century at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has recently co-authored a study of electoral alliances in late fourteenth century Venice with Prof. D. Queller, published inStudies in Medieval and Renaissance History.
