A note on optimal R.U. inventory management under inflation

Abstract

This paper develops a discounted-cost model including inflation rates as parameters of R.U. inventory system.

Cost optimization allows economic spares quantity evaluation.

In der Arbeit wird ein diskontiertes Gesamtkosten-Modell entwickelt, wobei die Inflationsrate als Parameter eingeht. Die Kostenoptimierung erlaubt eine ökonomische Bestimmung der Menge der Ersatzteile.
