Zusammenfassung

Die in einem Zeitschriftenverlag auftauchende Frage, welche Lesergruppen welche Arten von redaktionellen Beiträgen bevorzugen, wird beantwortet, indem die durch Copytests ermittelten Nutzungsintensitäten der Leser nach euklidischer Clusteranalyse gruppiert und die Beiträge faktorenanalysiert werden.

Es wird ein Clusterverfahren mit vorherigen Datentransformationen angegeben und eine Methode, nach der die Ergebnisse von Cluster-Lösungen nach verschiedenen Transformationen verglichen werden können.

Summary

Magazine publishers want to answer the question: Do certain groups of readers prefer certain kinds of articles? The reading intensities obtained by copy tests are grouped by cluster analysis, the articles are factor analyzed. After a clustering procedure with pre-transformations is used a method is given to compare solutions after different transformations.
