Zusammenfassung

PROSI ist eine leistungsstarke Simulationssprache zur Untersuchung betrieblicher Abläufe. Zielsetzung bei der Konzipierung war, die Simulation zu einem leicht handhabbaren Planungsmittel zu machen.

Dies wurde erreicht durch standardisierte Modellbeschreibung mittels Tabellen und eine problemorientierte Ausgabe der Simulationsergebnisse. Deshalb kann auch der betriebliche Fachmann ohne EDV-Kenntnisse PROSI anwenden (PROSI=Prozeß-Simulation).

Summary

PROSI is an efficient simulation language for studying operational procedures and processes. It has been designed with a view to making simulation an easy-to-handle planning tool.

This has been achieved by standardized model description by means of lists and by problem-oriented outputting of the simulation results. For this reason the expert familiar with the process concerned but having no knowledge of fata processing is able to apply PROSI (PROSI=Process-Simulation).
