Efficient receiver structure for GSM mobile radio

Abstract

The paper describes a receiver structure for the digital GSM mobile radio which is suitable for implementation using a DSP processor. The simulation results show that proposed simplifications have minor influence on the receiver performance and drastically reduce its computational complexity.
