Zusammenfassung

Die vorliegende Arbeit gibt eine Verallgemeinerung desRemes-Algorithmus zur linearenTschebyscheff-Approximation bei nicht erfüllterHaarscher Bedingung an. Gegenüber früheren Verfahren wird unter schwächeren voraussetzungen eine Folge von Approximationen konstruiert, die Minimalfolge des Approximationsproblems ist und sich mit weitgehend reduziertem Speicherbedarf und Rechenaufwand berechnen läßt.

Summary

This paper generalizes theRemes algorithm for solving the linearTchebycheff approximation problem to the case when theHaar condition is not satisfied. Compared with methods of other authors the construction of a minimizing sequence is carried through on weaker assumptions and with considerably reduced computing effort and storage requirement.
