Abstract

In [1] it was shown how to deduce a directed metric time from the causal partial ordering of binary events. This result made it possible to introduce the notion of simultaneity and to define a Boolean algebra over simultaneous binary events. The main result here is that the algebra can be extended to include nonsimultaneous events although at the expense of sacrificing equivalence and of coupling complementarity to time reversal.
