Zusammenfassungen
Trotz hoher IT-Investitionen in Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien gelingt es vielen Unternehmen nicht, ihre damit gesetzten Ziele zu erreichen. Eine wesentliche Ursache für dieses Scheitern liegt in einer eingeschränkt funktionierenden oder überhaupt fehlenden strategischen Partnerschaft zwischen dem Chief Information Officer (CIO) und Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In Anbetracht dieser aus IT-Sicht und Topmanagementsicht unbefriedigenden Situation werden im vorliegenden Beitrag Empfehlungen für CIOs und CEOs gegeben, wie diese eine strategische Partnerschaft entwickeln und etablieren können. Dazu gehören insbesondere der Aufbau einer IT-Vision, regelmäßige Kommunikation sowie die Schaffung von Vertrauen.
