Abstract
For stability reasons a fully implicit time integration for three-dimensional transport-chemistry models in shallow water is proposed. The resulting implicit relations are solved iteratively by an approximate factorization and diagonalizing technique. Morover, we discuss a domain decomposition approach and show numerical results. Finally, the performance on a multiprocessor shared-memory system is demonstrated.
