Abstract
Computing resources which are transparently available to the user via networked environments are commonly called a metacomputer. To establish a metacomputer there must be a software layer integrating the corresponding systems into one virtual computer. This paper presents a Kerberos-DCE based architecture which is based on features provided by Kerberos and DCE including Ticket Forwarding, DCE-Delegation, Cell Directory Service and Cell Aliasing.
