Abstract
This paper offers an overview of the experiences and problems encountered on converting books and journals existing in different electronic source formats into fully functional online-versions either in HTML or in PDF. The article focuses on the organisational point of view rather than explaining specific techniques and programmes for the conversion. It describes pros and cons of specific output formats as well as the wanted and achieved functionality of the derived online contents.
