Abstract

This paper is a set of working notes based on recent experience using PVM on NT clusters and Windows machines. Included in this document are some techniques and tips on setting up your own cluster as well as some of the anomalies encountered during this work.

This research was supported in part by an appointment to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Postdoctoral Research Associates Program administered jointly by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education.
