Abstract
In this paper published control models for robotic and biological gaze control systems are reviewed with an emphasis on dynamics characteristics and performance. The earlier work of Brown[2] is extended, taking into account more recent neurophysiological models and high-performance visual servoing results. All the models are compared using common notation and diagrammatic framework which clearly show the essential commonalities and differences between approaches.
