Abstract
A collaboration between academics and practitioners is successfully running in the context of the DESS en génie logiciel at the University of Nancy. This paper reports on this collaboration. In addition to presenting our experience, we also propose an analysis of pedagogical collaboration between industry and university. We discuss the difficulties with and the benefits of such collaborations and the forms they may take. By analyzing our current collaboration along those three axes, we try to understand why it is effective, how we can make it last, and how we could reproduce it with other partners or in other contexts.
