Abstract
In this paper we present the results of our experimentation with artificial neural networks for computing traffic queues. These results are compared with the performance of other training methods. The neural scores are slightly better than those obtained by symbolic procedures. But a deeper analysis suggests the convenience of a hybrid device to try to get the best outcomes from each method in each situation.
