Mit der Einführung der neuen IT-Berufe im Jahre 1997 (IT steht hier für Informations- und Telekommunikationstechnik) erhielten die Unternehmen die Chance, durch eigene Nachwuchsförderung ihren Personalbedarf im Bereich der IT den betrieblichen Erfordernissen entsprechend zu entwickeln.
