On the Schröder-Bernstein problem for abelian lattice ordered groups and for MV-algebras

Abstract

In this note we deal with abelian lattice ordered groups G having direct summands G1 and G2 such that G⊃G1⊃G2, G is isomorphic to G2 but not to G1. Further, we investigate an analogous condition for MV-algebras.
