Zusammenfassung

Erfahrung und Verhalten von Anwendern sowie ökonomische Vorgaben verlagern die Echtzeitkommunikation – mit Sprache und Video – aus isolierten Netzen in das Web. Das ermöglicht eine vollständige Integration in "Rich-Internet-Applications" und eine Nutzung der heute isolierten Sprach- und Videodienste in allen Web-Anwendungen. Kommunikationssysteme werden dafür an die Web-Architektur angepasst. Protokolle wie SIP und XMPP müssen dafür aber aufgegeben oder überdacht werden. Millionen Web-Entwickler bekommen so einen Zugang zu Kommunikationstechnologie und damit die Möglichkeit, Sprache und Video in ihre Web-Seiten zu integrieren. Mit diesem Technologiewandel wird das Internet die Telekommunikation Schritt für Schritt absorbieren.

User experience and the resulting economics dictate the migration of real time communications such as voice and video from dedicated VoIP networks to the Web and to the full integration with other rich Internet applications. This leads to adopting the Web architecture and protocols and security and renouncing various network application protocols such as SIP and XMPP. The key objective is to make communications accessible to millions of Web developers and enable Web sites with communications. This will be a transformational development for telecommunications, to be gradually absorbed by the Internet.
