Abstract
The increasing demand of electric power requires higher voltages for the energy transport over long distances, and therefore an adaption of the relevant standards for AC as well as for HVDC transmission is necessary. Furthermore, test requirements for the components of Ultra High Voltage (UHV) transmission should be evaluated.
