Abstract

This paper introduces the basic process of automatic modeling of large-scale buildings. By extending L-system theory and using elevation mapping and automatic river recognition, this paper studies and proposes an automatic road generation method for complex terrain. Experiments show that this method can automatically generate the uniform and varied streets with the surrounding terrain and environment in complex terrains with elevation, river and other constraints, and enrich the research content of road modeling in virtual city. Finally, the author summarizes and analyzes the shape characteristics of the village roads in Wannan dwelling houses, and proposes a road generation algorithm based on Voronoi diagram, which can effectively make up for the lack of changes in the L-system generated roads.
