Abstract
This paper examines calibration techniques for localizing the direction of a stationary ground-based emitter using a passive UAV-mounted antenna array. This problem is studied in the context in which the source can be observed from multiple look angles, as would be the case for an array mounted on an airborne platform. The efficacy of the calibration algorithms is tested on experimental data. The results indicate that significant performance gains are achieved with the use of the presented calibration algorithms.
