Prem Chand is Vice President of Mahindra British Telecom and heads their Security Business. He has over 30 years of experience in, the IT industry. Currently, he is a member of the India Prime Minister’s National Task Force on IT and Software Development. He also chairs the World Telemanagement Forum’s (TMF) Security Committee for Next Generation Operations Support Systems (NGOSS) and is a member of TMF’s NGOSS Architecture Board. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Information Systems Audit and Control Assoc (ISACA, India Chapter), the Executive Committee of the Asia Pacific Telecommunications Council, and the National Research, Design and Development Working Group on IT. His academic career started with a B.Sc. (EE) from Punjab University and culminated with a Ph.D. from BITS Pilani India.
