Abstract

This paper addresses an amplify-and-forward-based cooperative network with full-duplex relaying under fading loop interference channel, by selecting the optimal relay among the relay candidates. Capacity and error performance are investigated. In particular, we evaluate the interference threshold value, which is the milestone that the full-duplex mode demonstrates better performance than the half-duplex mode. The simulation results indicate that the full-duplex mode outperforms the half-duplex mode in terms of capacity if the interference is limited within a range of interest.
