Exact Outage Probability of Spectrum Sharing Multicast Cognitive Relay Networks

Abstract

In this paper, we derive the exact secondary outage probability (OP) of spectrum sharing multicast cognitive relay network (CRN) with single decode-and-froward relay. In the multicast CRN, because of the allowed maximum instantaneous transmit power at the secondary source, the signal-to-noise ratio from secondary source to secondary destination and that from secondary source to secondary relay are correlated which makes the derivation difficult. Numerical results show that the derived analytical OP matches the simulated OP.
