Design of Multilayer Microstrip-Slot In-Phase Power Divider with Tuning Stubs for Wideband Wireless Communication Applications

Abstract

This article proposes the design of wideband multilayer microstrip-slot in-phase power implementing two different shapes of tuning stubs, which are rectangular and circular. The design and analysis are performed via the use of full-wave electromagnetic simulation software package, CST Microwave Studio. The designed power divider with optimal tuning stubs has been fabricated, and its wideband performance of 2–6 GHz is verified.
