Abstract

An epic double band bandpass channel utilizing scratched Triangular resonator combined with microstrip resonant stubs is proposed. Etched slot is used to achieve the high performance in the proposed filter. Two orthogonal microstrip stubs work as resonators and bring the source–load coupling with good impedance matching to achieve the second passband. The proposed filter shows a simple structure, with three transmission zeros of good selectivity and good out-band rejection. The resonance frequency of dual passband at 2.4–3.2 GHz and 3.4–3.9 GHz with insertion loss of 0.8 dB and 1.5 dB is achieved with bandwidth of 800 MHz and 500 MHz.
