Kernpunkte
-
Abstract
Method Construction for Aligning Business and IT
Business/IT Alignment represents an organizational change which can only be successfully implemented through a systematic change method. A basic pre-requisite for a suitable change method is its adaptability according to the specific context and the reuse of already standardized fragments to support cost efficiency and on-time delivery of results. Based on an empirical study, a method construction methodology — Change Method Engineering has been developed using method fragments and reference scenarios for designing situational change methods catering for the requirements „adaptability“, „timeliness“, and „cost efficiency“.
