Abstract
Shop floors organized as job shops are indispensable for many single- and small-series productions with low repetition rates. Due to its high complexity regarding production control, job shop production systems have efficiency disadvantages compared to other forms of organization. This paper presents a new approach for a job shop control system which bases on a deviation-caused, autonomous adaption of the production schedule, aiming at low production costs.
