Abstract

In recent years, the influence of exercise on inhibitory control function has become a research hotspot in the field of exercise psychology. A large number of studies have shown that exercise can improve inhibitory control function. However, research evidence on the effect of exercise on the inhibitory control function of adolescents still needs to be accumulated. This study explores the effect of long-term exercise on the inhibitory function of adolescents under the background of physical function training. Different intensity exercise intervention can improve the inhibitory function of adolescents to a certain extent and significantly improve the conversion function of adolescents. In this paper, medical imaging-based near-infrared spectroscopy imaging technology monitors the changes in the activation pattern of the brain’s prefrontal lobe during the completion of psychological tasks, and combines the performance of cognitive behavior to evaluate the training benefits of long-term exercise on the inhibitory control function. Meta-analysis methods are less used in the field of sports scientific research. Through Revman5.0 statistical software, a meta-analysis of the literature on the influence of sports on adolescents’ inhibitory control function in my country in recent decades is conducive to improving the objectivity of the research content and reducing the experimental research. Manpower and material resources are consumed. The literature was screened according to uniform standards, and a series of exercises and other indicators were finally determined to conduct a comparative study between and within groups before and after the experiment. It can be concluded that exercise intervention has a promoting effect on the inhibition and control function of adolescents and children, and the intervention effect of acute exercise is excellent. Compared with other sports intervention programs, aerobic skills programs are more suitable for inhibiting the promotion of control functions. Chronic exercise cycle of 12–24 weeks, exercise time 50-90 min/week, exercise frequency 2–3 times/week has a significant effect on inhibiting control function.
