Abstract
In this paper, we investigate a novel stability criterion for T-S fuzzy systems with sampled-data controller, in which the aperiodic sampling and actuator failure are considered. First, according to the negative influence of actuator failure, the dynamics of the considered closed-loop system is modeled by a T-S fuzzy system with the occurrence of actuator failure. The main purpose of the problem addressed is to design a fuzzy sampled-data controller, such that the closed-loop system guarantees the asymptotic stability with actuator failure. Then, a novel augmented two-side looped Lyapunov functional is constructed, which can make full use of sampled information. A novel negative-determination lemma is applied to deal with the delay-dependent quadratic polynomial that comes from the derivative of the functional. The sufficient conditions of stability with actuator failure are given as the basis of controller design. Furthermore, the proposed fuzzy sampled-data control scheme is proposed to obtain the longer sampling interval. Finally, two examples show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed controller design scheme.
