Zusammenfassung

Im Zeitalter der Informationsgesellschaft, so wurde postuliert, spielten räumliche Distanzen keine Rolle mehr und unsere räumliche Mobilität nähme ab. Die Mobilität in den letzten Jahren, speziell die Freizeitmobilität, hat hingegen zugenommen. Die Bereitstellung ortsbezogener Dienste – ,,Location-based Services“ – unterstützt und fördert dieses Verhalten.
