Zusammenfassung
Als Fortbewegungsspiele in realen geografischen Umgebungen stellen Geogames besondere Anforderungen an die Spieleentwicklung, weshalb Designansätze aus dem Bereich der Konsolenspiele nur begrenzt geeignet sind. Der Beitrag widmet sich den spezifischen Gestaltungsproblemen und beschreibt ausgehend von einer Klassifikation kognitiver Räume die Designanforderungen für Geogames. Mithilfe eines Modells der Gestaltungsaufgaben werden Probleme der ludischen, narrativen und performativen Gestaltung identifiziert und geoinformatischen Forschungsergebnissen zugeordnet. Abschließend beschreibt der Beitrag Lösungsansätze für eine grundlegende Designherausforderung, die Relokalisierung von Spielen.
