Zusammenfassung

  Die Wirtschaftsinformatik gehört an vielen deutschsprachigen Universitäten und Fachhochschulen zu den attraktiven Studienfächern. In der Forschung hat sie in ihrer kurzen Geschichte einen beachtlichen Fundus an Verfügungswissen bereitgestellt. Mit dem Aufkommen neuer Leitbilder wie Informationsgesellschaft und Nachhaltige Entwicklung müssen die vorhandenen Konzepte überprüft werden. Insbesondere die Organisationstheorie könnte hilfreich sein, um die neuen Herausforderungen erfolgreich zu meistern.

Summary

  The paper recommends Information Systems (IS) to review their own methods and perspectives because of the new images “information society” and “sustainable development”.
