Integrated circuits based on organic semiconductors are treated as a potential option to realize low-cost disposable products for the mass market. This paper presents an overview of the different materials used for the organic microelectronics as well as the fabrication process of organic field-effect transistors. By means of fabricated examples the potential of integrated organic circuits is shown.
