Der neue Studienplan der Elektrotechnik an der Technischen Universität Wien mit einem gemeinsamen Bachelorstudium und fünf darauf aufsetzenden Masterstudien ist seit dem Wintersemester 2003 in Kraft und mittlerweile vollständig umgesetzt. Dieser Beitrag stellt den Studienplan und das Qualifikationsprofil der Absolventinnen und Absolventen dar. Ergänzend gehen die Autoren auch auf die Positionierung des Universitätsstudiums in der immer komplexer werdenden Ausbildungslandschaft ein.
The new study program in Electrical Engineering at Vienna University of Technology with a common bachelor program and a choice out of five master programs on top of it has become effective since winter term 2003 and is fully implemented by now. This paper presents the contents of the program and the profile of qualifications underlying it. In addition some hints are given to the position of this university program in an educational environment, which has grown considerably more complex offering a multitude of programs by different institutions.
