Abstract

Deterministic and Parikh deterministic eco-grammar systems are introduced, i.e. systems with developments characterized by unique derivation sequences and by unique Parikh vector sequences, respectively. Necessary and sufficient conditions for eco-grammar systems to be (Parikh) deterministic are studied. The generative power of deterministic eco-grammar systems and Parikh deterministic eco-grammar systems are investigated.
