Performance Analysis of VPSK Digital Modulation

Abstract

A digital modulation recently proposed and referred to as variablephase-shift-keyeing is analyzed. The autocorrelation function, powerspectral density, and probability of error are computed. Our results showthat claims of very high spectral efficiency are unjustified.
