Compact InP-based Optical Modulator for 100-Gb/s Coherent Pluggable Transceivers

Abstract

InP-based MZ modulators are suitable for realizing coherent pluggable transceivers. They offer compact size, low driving voltage and high performance. Targeting lower power consumption, we employed a reduced driving voltage and an athermal twin-IQ modulator.
