Abstract
This article deals with networked systems (agents) which must perform a cooperative task. The agents receive tasks which are determined by a coordinating unit, so that the cooperative task is satisfied. The situation that is the focus of this contribution is where some of the agents are faulty and henceforth can no longer contribute to the cooperative task. In such a failure situation, the tasks of the healthy agents are adjusted, so that the loss of the faulty agents has no effect on the cooperative task. There are two new methods described for that redistribution of control tasks. A transport system is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the methods.
