Abstract
For researchers, practitioners as well as for many companies network analysis of huge data sets is costly and not practical at all. In this contribution we present a comprehensive unifi ed framework for the collection and analysis of Web 2.0 media. This frameworks is the result of our experience with the analysis of media like blogs and wikis. In the framework we make us of social network analysis we apply on social graphs in the MediaBase. The MediaBase is a collection of crawled Web 2.0 media stored in the form of social graphs. On the social graphs, the included sub-graphs and the nodes we automatically detect patterns and visualize them. This framework was developed and evaluated in a number of national and European projects, in particular on technology enhanced learning.
