Didaktik zielt auf Qualitätsverbesserung – Technik auf Rationalisierung. Beim Einsatz digitaler Medien in der Bildung wird Technik allzu oft als Trojanisches Pferd missbraucht, um pädagogische und institutionelle Strukturen zu verbessern. Anforderungen und Erwartungen sind entsprechend hoch – der Aufwand auch. Dadurch wird der Alltagseinsatz schnell kontraproduktiv. Beim Aufbau lernförderlicher Infrastrukturen wird deutlich, dass technische Konzepte unabhängig von didaktischen Überlegungen berücksichtigt werden müssen.
Didactics aims at greater quality – technology at greater effectiveness. Educational Technology, however, is often used as a Trojan Horse to improve education and educational institutions. Hence, demands and expectations are considerably high, and development and use are quite expensive endeavours; it thus runs counter productive to everyday use. Building up learning supportive infrastructures shows, that technology has to play an independent role of didactics and needs its own conceptual space.
