Summary
The usability of interactive systems is an important attribute, especially for safety-critical devices like driver information systems. The functional complexity of such devices is increasing. Traditional user testing during development often fails to provide necessary data for an appropriate usability evaluation. In this work an approach for in-the-field usage data collection using the D'PUIS framework and automatic evaluation with the REVISER evaluation tool is introduced.
Zusammenfassung
Gebrauchstauglichkeit ist ein wichtiges Attribut interaktiver Systeme. Das gilt besonders für sicherheitskritische Geräte wie Fahrerinformationssysteme, deren Funktionsvielfalt stetig zunimmt. Eine klassische entwicklungsbegleitende Bewertung mit Probanden wird meistens nur unter Laborbedingungen durchgeführt. In diesem Beitrag wird ein Konzept zur nutzungsbegleitenden Bewertung vorgestellt. Dabei werden sowohl die Nutzungsdaten durch das Framework D'PUIS automatisch gesammelt als auch die Bewertung mit Hilfe des Bewertungstools REVISER automatisch durchgeführt.
