Abstract

This paper considers the problem of the compression of binary sequences for obtaining compact estimates—signatures. The basic propositions of generalized adaptive signature analysis are presented; the main advantage of this analysis is the operative signature modification upon changes in the compressed sequence. Examples of the application of this method and the estimation of its efficiency are considered.
