Abstract

An approach to the problem of diagnostic information (DI) compression based on the search for regularities in its structure is considered. The search is based on calculating the entropy of various options for DI structuring. This data is used when selecting the option for which there is an optimal or close to it method of coding DI fragments with codes of variable length. A genetic algorithm of finding a suitable DI structuring alternative is suggested.
