On the global index of the communication quality for QoS, QoE, and SLA: New challenges

Abstract

A global index of communication quality is considered as a linear discriminant function developed previously for channel-switching systems. This index is proposed for use in packet-switched systems. We formulate three problems of the E-model modification used for assessing the quality of Internet telephone and video telephone communication.
