Abstract

This paper proposes a shoulder-surfing-resistant method for authenticating computer-system users, which is based on the graphical password and gesture (move) selected by the user similar to the movements of chess pieces. The resistance of the password system to a variety of attacks has been estimated. Results of the microergonometric study of this password system are provided.
